Former HRS Family:
"As parents, we want to instill Christian values in our children, provide them with an exceptional education, and raise them to be well-rounded. Prior to moving to Marshall, our children were challenged and excelled at Christian-based schools. We wanted this to continue. After much research, we felt Holy Redeemer School would be able to provide for our children. Having being here for three years, we have not regretted our decision. Our children not only are being challenged academically, but also are building their social skills, and participating in various extra-curricular activities. Our daughter who graduated from HRS, was well prepared for high school and has acclimated without any problems. It takes a village to raise a child...we are glad that Holy Redeemer is part of our village!!" |

Alumnae Career Success:
"Holy Redeemer was many things to me. It was my second home for many years. It was where I met some of my very best friends. It was where I was taught to be a leader, a hard worker, an honest, God-centered woman. I was taught to speak up - perhaps mostly from Father Jerry, when responses at mass in the Chapel didn’t quite meet his standards. It was where I learned to be humble, but proud - humorous, but understanding, and determined, but patient. This was a foundation my parents and family helped lay and Holy Redeemer strengthened. I feel very fortunate to have attended Holy Redeemer. HRS helped me become well-rounded academically with small class-sizes and exceptional teachers, but also well-rounded outside the classroom as well. I was not only allowed to, but encouraged to explore my interests and passions. I could be in student council and volleyball, choir and band, knowledge bowl and basketball. As a Director of Marketing, I am responsible for both work and helping develop individuals on my team. I am expected to be creative, helpful, diligent, and positive. When I look back at what I accomplished in High School, at St. Ben’s, and in my young professional years, I have no doubt that the early years I spent at Holy Redeemer first prepared me for what would come my way. I am thankful to my parents, for giving me the privilege of a Catholic education, I’m thankful for my teachers who spent countless hours helping to shape my character - and brain - and I’m thankful for the lessons I learned at Holy Redeemer. If I could say anything to the current students of HRS, I would tell them to enjoy it. HRS is family, and the time spent there will surely be some of their fondest memories. It sure was for me." |
Previous HRS Family:
"We are so thankful for the solid academic foundation both of our boys received at Holy Redeemer. We choose HRS because we wanted a Catholic education for our boys and we knew we would take all the help we could get instilling faith, moral development, and respect! We got all that plus very high standards for their achievement which continues to help them succeed! Thank you and all the teachers at Holy Redeemer for providing an education rich in academics and rooted in faith. Holy Redeemer is a lot more than a school, it is a community and has been an important springboard in our kids lives. You are all appreciated and loved!"
