At Holy Redeemer School, we strive to live, as Jesus would want us to live by providing a Christian atmosphere where all learn and grow academically and spiritually.

Fast Facts

Holy Redeemer School is a Catholic, Pre-K through 8 school located in Marshall, MN.
Marshall is centrally located in Southwestern Minnesota, and serves as the retail, educational and cultural hub of the region. Our community is conveniently located just off 3 major highways, which makes us a short drive from anywhere. Marshall's population is nearly 14,000 people.
On average, there are 14 students in each homeroom, as we strive to keep our class sizes small.
There is 1 principal and secretary, 24 teachers, and approximately 10 support staff (aides, custodians, and food service).
Hot lunch is served every day.
In addition to the standard curriculum of Religion, Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies, students have Physical Education, Music, STEM, Art, and Library each week. Students in grades 5-8 also have the opportunity to participate in band and/or choir, and athletics.

Faith Development
At Holy Redeemer School, we believe that education goes beyond academics. We provide a Catholic faith-based atmosphere where each school day begins and ends with prayer. Teachers lead the students in their personal faith development through small group discussions, speakers, hand-on tasks, and shared experiences including:

Weekly mass or prayer services
Community service projects
Christmas program
Seder Meal
The Passion/Stations of the Cross
May Crowning/Living Rosary
Catholic Schools Week celebration
Prepare for and receive sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist
Sixth grade outdoor education experience
Kindergarten and eighth grade graduations

We have the awesome advantage at HRS of having a Preschool - 8th grade school!
Our students get to interact with many different age groups on a daily basis, and siblings/families can be in the same building for many years!
